Numurkah Boys Head to Cairns for Their Footy Trip

The Numurkah boys headed north for a Cairns footy trip with Mad Monday, swapping the footy field for a weekend of pub stops, custom singlets and a Sunday session by the pool.

With the season finished, it was time to get the group together and enjoy a trip away.

A Party Bus Pub Crawl Around Cairns

The boys went all out with a Party Bus pub crawl, visiting pubs on the outskirts of Cairns.

Getting beyond the city centre gave the group a chance to check out a different side of Cairns, with the bus keeping everyone together between stops. For clubs planning their own Cairns footy trip, it’s an option to add to the weekend.

Custom Numurkah Trip Singlets

The group’s custom Numurkah singlets brought their club identity to Cairns, complete with a tropical design made for the trip.

Of course, the award singlets made an appearance too. The photos show the Best On and Worst On colours getting plenty of attention, giving the boys something else to compete for once the footy season was over.

A Sunday Session by the Pool

The boys wrapped up the weekend with a Sunday session poolside at Gilligans.

After the Party Bus pub crawl, an afternoon by the pool gave everyone a chance to settle in together and keep the laughs going before heading home.

What the Organiser Had to Say

After the trip, the organiser sent us this message:

“Hey mate was bloody good fun, thanks for your help”

It’s always good to hear from the person who pulled the group together and know the boys enjoyed their weekend away.
