Echuca United Eagles Adelaide Footy Trip with Mad Monday

The Echuca United Eagles headed to Adelaide with Mad Monday for their 2026 Adelaide Footy Trip, joining Mad Monday groups from across Australia for a huge end of season weekend.

With their custom Echuca United Eagles trip singlets ready to go, accommodation organised and a massive Mad Monday event waiting for them in the Adelaide CBD, the boys were set for a big weekend.

Custom Singlets for the Echuca United Adelaide Footy Trip

Every Mad Monday trip gets its own identity, and for the Echuca United Eagles that started with their custom Adelaide Footy Trip singlets.

Mad Monday created a blue and gold camouflage design based around the Echuca United colours.

The front featured ECHUCA UNITED EAGLES, a custom Eagles character holding a beer and footy, Adelaide Trip, the year and Mad Monday branding.

The result was a custom singlet designed specifically for the Eagles and their end of season trip to Adelaide.

Best On, Worst On, Biggest Pest, Virgin & Sin Bin Singlets

The Eagles also received a full set of Mad Monday trip award singlets to hand out during their Adelaide Footy Trip.

Their set included:

Best On | Worst On | Biggest Pest | Virgin | Sin Bin

The new Sin Bin singlet adds another element to the weekend.

If someone says or does something stupid, the group can send them straight to the Sin Bin. They have to put on the singlet and spend the next 10 minutes unable to talk.

Once their 10 minutes are up, the Sin Bin singlet goes back into circulation ready for the next offence.

Unlike the other trip singlets, the Sin Bin can be continually handed around throughout the entire trip.

With a group of mates away together for an end of season weekend, it probably doesn't take long before someone else earns their 10 minutes.

A Huge Mad Monday Event in Adelaide CBD

One of the biggest parts of the Eagles' Adelaide Footy Trip was the huge Mad Monday event in the heart of the Adelaide CBD.

The event kicked off from midday, bringing together Mad Monday groups travelling to Adelaide from all over Australia.

With DJs playing and groups arriving in their custom Mad Monday trip singlets, the event gave everyone a central place to kick off a massive day in Adelaide.

For Echuca United, it meant their weekend wasn't limited to just their own group.

The Eagles were able to join other footy clubs and netball trips from around Australia, all in Adelaide for their own Mad Monday end of season trips.

It's one of the things that makes travelling with Mad Monday different.

You aren't simply booking accommodation and turning up in another city. Depending on the weekend, Mad Monday groups can get access to events and experiences organised around the trip itself.

Why Adelaide Is Perfect for a Footy Trip

There's a reason Adelaide Footy Trips continue to be a popular choice for Mad Monday groups.

The Adelaide CBD has pubs, bars, nightlife and major sporting events all concentrated within a relatively compact area, making it ideal when you're travelling with a larger group.

You can base the team in the city and have plenty happening throughout the weekend without spending half the trip travelling between different areas.

Combine that with custom trip singlets, Mad Monday merchandise, group activities and Mad Monday events and Adelaide has everything you need for an end of season footy trip.
